Your Move-Better Reset
Your body isn’t the same every day. How you move doesn’t have to be either.
You’re barely awake, and your body’s like, heeey! Before you set foot on the ground, something is already apparent.
By the first sip of coffee, your body has an opinion.
What worked yesterday might not be what works today. Give yourself seven minutes on the mat and see what happens when you meet your body where it actually is.
Loosen up. Feel more human.
Movement can be more than something you do for your body.
It can be a way to learn from it.
Two movement practices you can return to when your body needs you.
Move a little, notice a lot. Discover movement that helps you slow down enough to experience what’s happening from the inside.
Why your body’s information isn’t your mind’s job to figure out, and how a few minutes on the mat can tell you more than hours of overthinking.
How to notice what your body is already telling you, because the most obvious place to start is often the easiest one to overlook.
Stiff, stressed, tense, achy, creaky, braced, uncomfortable, or carrying the whole darn week? Let your body show you how to make more sense of what you’re feeling.
Have we met? I’m Renie.
I’ve spent more than 25 years helping people understand their bodies through myofascial release, movement, and hands-on work.
Along the way, I’ve learned something that shapes everything I teach:
Stiff, tight, tense, stressed, achy, feeling like a stranger in your own body- whatever gets your attention, I’ve learned that what you feel is often a pretty good place to begin.
Your body is giving you information all the time. Movement gives you a way to work with it.
That’s what we’re doing here.
Not trying to perform a movement correctly. Not following a routine because someone said it’s good for you. And not assuming that what worked yesterday is what your body needs today.
We move. We notice what changes. And little by little, you build more ways to respond.
Your body. Your pace. My guidance.
Show up as-is, and I’ll see you on the mat!
