About StillPoint Myofascial Release

At the StillPoint, everything moves.

StillPoint isn’t just a place. It’s a threshold. A space where sensation is honored, where holding patterns are unwound, and where healing is led by the body—not the ego.

Trained in the John Barnes method of Myofascial Release and shaped by decades of hands-on experience, the work at StillPoint blends therapeutic technique with intuitive presence, Myofascial principles, and nervous system awareness.

It’s technical, yes—but also reverent, relational, and soul-level deep. This is advanced bodywork for people who are ready to meet themselves more fully. It’s for those who carry tension that isn’t just physical—and know their healing isn’t either.

Whether you're new to this work or decades in, we meet at the place where the physical, emotional, and spiritual intersect— because they were never separate to begin with.

So good to walk thru this with you. Loved your phrase not to be alarmed at how tight I am. Love the time to connect to ourselves. Already my body feels energized.

“As a lifelong dancer, my body has been through more than most at 35. Renie’s classes have supported deep releasework in my body (physically and emotionally) in ways I never knew I needed. She keeps me functioning!”

Hi! I’m Renie.

Fascia-fanatic, born with a little magic in my hands.
I’ve been therapeutically touching bodies for over 25 years—and I’m still just as in awe of how they speak.

I’m a pattern-watcher. A posture-noticer. A deep believer in the connections between our tissues and the natural world. Fractal freak? For sure. Body-geek? Absolutely.

I prefer the slow lane and anything homegrown.
Excessively Capricorn. Sometimes awkwardly serious. Always a visual learner.

And I believe—fully—that unlocking the restrictions in your fascia is the most honest metaphor for how we learn to move through the world.

Fascial restrictions are both the lock and the key. Learn to release them, and you’ll begin to deepen your intuition and trust your body’s own consciousness
